Who Sends Regrets
TOPEKA HIGH
SCHOOL
Class
of 1970
Many classmates wish they could be with us for the Reunion 40 events. Here are those who've written.
Rebecca Brown Dartez, Branson MO: My husband is ill, and I cannot leave him. So, I will have to miss this reunion.
Nancy Buntin Haney, San Antonio TX
Pamela Byrd Somerville, thru classmates.com: Unfortunately, I will be at an Art Show that weekend. I'm so sorry I will miss the reunion. OMG, I cannot believe it has been 40 years!
Nancy
Conrad Hamilton, Clay Center KS Cristine Craig Bolley, Broken Arrow OK: What a great job you have done on this Website! I'm so sad that I will not be able to attend our 40th reunion. I'm completing a master's degree in clinical psychology this fall and I have a mandatory class that Friday night and Saturday. Even though I can't be at the reunion, it is meaningful to be part of such a great group of people who shared the history of the late 60s together. Thank you for posting the memorial for our classmates, I remember them fondly. I look forward to seeing photos of this year's gathering.
Ketty Haydee Fernandez Parada, Montivedo URUGUAY: I will start saving for our 45th! . . . Hope you have a wonderful reunion and please say hello to any who remembers or asks about the AFS students you had back then! Pls let me know how to see the pics, ok?
Kyle Groff Rader, Anchorage AK: Sorry can't make it.
Ann L. Hoover, Topeka KS
Judi Kintner Nenninger, Burfordville MO: Have a great time!
Christy Lynn Miller Guhr, Joplin MO: I regret that I will not be able to attend the reunion this year. You all will be in my thoughts as you remember past events and celebrate the future!
Elaine Mutschler-Riedl, Brighton CO
John Richmond, Bartonville IL: We will be in Topeka this summer–in just a few days (I write on 7/21/10) as a matter of fact–but will not be able to attend the reunion . . . during the school year is difficult. However, as we are venerable–ancient, according to our child [age 13]–parents, we are aware that many people have finished with parenthood as we know it, thus realizing that homecoming probably is an excellent time for others.
Bob Smith, Overbrook KS: I'm sure sorry I won't be able to attend . . . with two fourteen year old boys to raise . . .
Gail Stevenson: Greetings from Dallas, Texas! I sure wanted to come to see all of you but I have a pinched nerve in my neck and my doctor has advised me not to make any long trips at this time. She also said that I need to quit my job (sitting in front of a pc all day) but she doesn't pay the light bill! I hope everyone is healthy and happy. God willing and the creek don't rise I will see ALL of you at the 45th reunion when we all should be totally retired and enjoying our social security checks. May God bless each of you and your family.
Barbara Tholl Ebert, Topeka KS
Wayne Tindall, Berryton KS
